One of our best-selling limestones, this warm honey-toned limestone flooring will add depth and character to your interior design. Very similar in colour & fossil content to the traditional limestone quarried in the Box hills near Bath in the west country, Castile is far harder making it an eminently appropriate flooring stone for even the busiest homes. A fantastic kitchen floor limestone or for a bustling open plan area, Castile is sold in large 60 cm wide flagstones that go up to 100cm in length producing a large format limestone floor traditional in character and scale. Each of these tiles is heavily tumbled, meaning it has a distinct textured surface. Formed over thousands of years, this natural stone features preserved fossils, quartz ‘pencil’ lines, mottling and natural variation. Its strength, durability and low porosity makes it a hugely popular choice for kitchens, conservatories and barn conversions. Bridge the gap between your indoor and outdoor space and complete the look with our 3cm thick Castile Heavy External Tumbled Limestone for your exterior. 

STOP PRESS: To compliment the internal flagstones we have our brand new indoor stone steps finished with a light brushed texture. These limestone step treads, like their external counterpart, are finished with a full bullnose edge and offer the ideal solution for internal split level floors.

Also available are our Castile external finish treads* (steps/coping stones). 100cm long x 35cm deep x 5cm thick with the front edge finished with a bullnose profile. Priced per piece at £45each +VAT and delivery.

3cm thick courtyard cobbles: these lovely outdoor finished cobbles come in 15cm widths by mixed lengths and 3cm thick. Perfect for landscaping pathways, courtyards and the like.
