Shales Moon is the paler, more silver version of our immensely popular Shales Sand porcelain tile. Available from stock in 3 different tile sizes, Shales Moon creates wonderfully light schemes on which you easily can stamp your own you design preferences on due to its neutral colour.
Timeless design, with its style origins rooted firmly in Cumbria, the Shales Moon tile boasts all the natural characteristics of beautiful Cumbrian Slate. This elegant slate effect tile displays stunning tonal variation and can be laid in a variety of tile formats to match any shape or style of room. Hardwearing, and most importantly, scratch resistance, this isn’t a case of style over substance, these Italian made tiles are built to last. Shales Moon tiles are perfect for injecting a dose of chic into any scheme be it tranquil bathrooms or large & light open living spaces.
Our Shales Moon delivers pale silver-white tones that serve as a fantastic platform for a whole host of interior decors. Whether looking to draw inspiration from a minimalist paired back approach, or replicating more traditional cosier designs, Shales Moon plays its part in creating an elegant and inviting environment.

- Standard R10 10mm thick 60cm x 60cm internal format: The classic square internal tile for use in both residential and commercial interiors, finished with a contemporary square. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 5boxes (7.2sqm) – USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.
- Standard R10 10mm thick 120cm x 60cm internal format: The mammoth internal tile for use in both residential and commercial interiors, finished with a contemporary square. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 5boxes (7.2sqm) – USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.

PRICES ARE PER BOX EXCLUDING DELIVERY and the price per sqm is also shown allowing easy comparison. We operate a minimum order of 5 boxes (7.2sqm) on all formats. For popular grout colours and further information on this contemporary slate look porcelain please refer to the specification tab.
LARGE SIZE SAMPLE INFORMATION: A single 30cm x 30cm sample is available to purchase at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Shales Moon Porcelain.

| Installation Points | Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout. For large tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products, no different to what you would see in real stone or timber. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. As per laying real stone/timber a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
