Beautiful slate has been used for centuries around the globe as a building material be it as fabulous slate floors, desirable slate kitchen worktops, warming fire-hearths or even utilitarian roofing tiles. However, whilst undeniably attractive, many slates you can scratch with your finger-nail which doesn’t make them an optimum choice for a busy, hardworking floor material! This is where our fabulous Bedrock Black Slate Porcelain comes to the fore! This is non-porous, stain-proof Italian wall and floor porcelain. With its remarkable slate appearance including all the surface texture and movement detail you’d expect to see in quarried slate, Bedrock Slate Porcelain is a fantastic solution for those who want that timeless slate look coupled with an easy-clean, forgiving surface perfect for modern lifestyles.

- 120cm x 60cm Standard R10 10mm thick internal format: Our hugely popular internal tile for use in both residential and commercial interiors, finished with a contemporay square aged edge. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 5boxes (7.2sqm) on this stoneware porcelain wall & floor tile – USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK

| Installation Points | Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout. For large tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. A good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
