Our Antique Heritage collection is inspired by the popularity of the pale oak colours seen in our Classic Heritage oak boards. In this new collection we have combined these lovely light oak tones with the same artisanal hand-working employed in our other antiqued oak ranges to produce a delightful, small range of sympathetically aged engineered oak flooring. Available in 22cm wide planks in 2 colours and a large parquet herringbone in a third, Antique Heritage oak flooring is a lovely range that will inject a sense of the vintage to any scheme.
Antique Heritage oak floors are imbued with a sense of the old but with a modernity of colour and finish that enables them to be used in a plethora of interior schemes. Colour #12 is based on unfinished oak – the colour of the timber before the finishing oil is applied. This colour is very much in demand in real wood flooring & this fabulous finish is achieved by the clever use of an invisible UV oil, giving you the unfinished colour but with the protection of an oiled finish. Colour #14 undergoes the same hand-antiquing processes but also undergoes a light smoking or fuming which acts uniquely with each plank producing a slightly more varied tonal floor. A subtle white-wash is also applied, minimally highlighting some of the brushed natural timber grain, finished with a hardwaxed oil for easy care. Colour #9-2 in the herringbone format has similar unfinished pale oak tones as colour #12 though has slightly more texture from the heavier brushing and a heavy distressed aged edge.
Both Antique Heritage #12 and #14 are available in the superb wide plank form of 22cm, length is 2.2m and thickness 1.5cm (2200x220x15). Colour #9-2 is available in a gorgeous 60cm x 12.5cm herringbone parquet.
