Our Barnwood collection is inspired by the remarkable beauty of reclaimed oak flooring. This hand-aged range produces a reclaimed effect which gives the impression of having been worn over many years. The variation of the surface of each hand-worked plank creates a unique oak floor with inherent individual beauty, hand-planed & re-imagined, producing an extraordinary collection. The individual and irregular variation of the surface texture and the antique hand finishing creates the unexpected; a stable engineered oak floor full of the irregularities and inconsistencies that is the hallmark of authentic historic effect oak flooring.

Barnwood undergoes various hand working processes to produce heavy wear & tear marks, creating a damaged surface full of historical accuracy. Each plank edge is worn away, broken & irregular to suggest the passage of time of an historical floor. The surface has a deep sheen to suggest a floor subtly patinated through years of being walked upon adding further age and character to this delightful range.

This stunning collection, with its deeper colours and more pronounced character, is at home in both classically styled interiors and more modern schemes making it ideal for a variety of interior schemes. It is of course hugely suitable for that country house look; its rusticity elevates country allure.

Each colour option in the Barnwood collection comes in the same plank size of 2200mm x 220mm x 20mm (6mm solid oak surface and 14mm ply back).
