One of our best-selling limestones, this warm honey-toned limestone flooring will add depth and character to your interior design. Very similar in colour & fossil content to the traditional limestone quarried in the Box hills near Bath in the west country, Castile is far harder making it an eminently appropriate flooring stone for even the busiest homes. A fantastic kitchen floor limestone or for a bustling open plan area, Castile is sold in large 60 cm wide flagstones that go up to 100cm in length producing a large format limestone floor traditional in character and scale. Each of these tiles is heavily tumbled, meaning it has a distinct textured surface. Formed over thousands of years, this natural stone features preserved fossils, quartz ‘pencil’ lines, mottling and natural variation. Its strength, durability and low porosity makes it a hugely popular choice for kitchens, conservatories and barn conversions.
