Presented here are our hugely popular Castile soft tumbled flagstones in the same sized flags for use indoors to out. The traditional mixed length format, sold in fabulous 60cm wide flags, creates a spectacular, uninterrupted floor which is sure to strike beauty into any design scheme. The internal flagstone is usually held in both 15mm and 20mm thicknesses. It is finished with a gentle, time-worn edge that is both alluring and sypathetic to this beautiful natural stone. The surface of the flags is primarily smooth with areas of slight texture, further enhancing the subtle aged look of this flagstone flooring.

STOP PRESS: To compliment the internal flagstones we have our brand new indoor stone steps finished with the same light brushed texture as the internal flagstones. These limestone step treads, like their external counterpart, are finished with a full bullnose edge and offer the ideal solution for internal split level floors. 

The external format is finished with the same gently aged edge and comes in a dedicated 30mm thick flag. The surface of the stone is etched to give this external tile a higher-grip, however the visual aesthetic is unaffected by this process. Our Castile step tread is also finished with this same higher-grip surface and one 100cm side is fully bullnosed.

Castile is very similar to the famous west-country architectural limestone quarried in the Box hills near Bath. It holds a charming mix of subtle creamy tones, from mellow honey to pale gold along with intricate fossil details and mineral veining. It is a very dense stone making it highly suitable for even the busiest family homes or commercial projects.

3cm thick courtyard cobbles: these lovely outdoor finished cobbles come in 15cm widths by mixed lengths and 3cm thick. Perfect for landscaping pathways, courtyards and the like.

Postal samples ARE NOT available for our indoor & 5cm thick step treads, the colour and finish of the indoor steps is identical to the soft tumbled indoor flagstone and the 5cm is identical to the external flagstone - both of which samples can be ordered for.
