20cm x 10cm x 2cm handthrown authentic & rustic terracotta. This fabulous diamond shaped Terracotta floor tile is available in 2 colours:
Cotta - a traditional light red clay colour.
Pale - a lovely pale amber colour.
Terracotta has an unmatched simplistic beauty packed with baked earth charm. Long celebrated for its natural earth hues, our new indoor Terracotta tiles are sympathetically tumbled and aged to produce a beautiful time-worn look. Handmade rustic terracotta tiles bring a whole new level of authenticity thanks to their natural variations in texture and tone between each tile. Exuding an earthy warmth, Terracotta's rich, natural earth-hued colour palette brings a sense of natural warmth to spaces. Terracotta floor tiles have regained their popularity among flooring choices for their rustic charm and timeless appeal.
The final floor colour of your terracotta floor will be significantly influenced by your choice of sealant. You can choose to either retain the natural, organic matte tones of the tiles with a matte finish or intensify & add a wax satin finish to the colour of the terracotta. *Installation note: The most important factor in achieving a good finish is to use a tiler with proven experience of laying and sealing terracotta tiles. An experienced terracotta installer will very likely have a suite of sealers that they are comfortable in using, excellent products are available from FILA, LTP and others. As your fitter is guaranteeing your installation, we’d recommend following their suggested products even if they differ from those outlined in our sealing guide.

LARGE SIZE SAMPLE INFORMATION: A single full size 10cm x 20cm sample is available to purchase at just £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of our 10x20 Diamond terracotta flooring. PLEASE confirm which colour tile you want to received in the instructions at checkout box.

| Installation Points | Terracotta must be installed with a good quality rapid-set or semi rapid-set white adhesive. Flexibility and full specification will depend on the age and type of your sub-floor. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our natural terracotta tiles. Each tile will react differently to the production & firing process resulting in different textures, tones and colour variation. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch - at least 10% extra. As always when laying a natural product a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
